Anthropologists say our brain and skeletal size has actually shrunk since the agricultural revolution, since we shifted from a primarily carnivorous to primarily herbivorous diet (most of us, that is).
Jeff, the lifestyle you promote is not viable for a planet with a population of over 6 Billion. Researchers are trying to find ways to feed our population with the existing land area. Using land to grow fodder for animals is much less effective than growing high-protein foods for human consumption.
I for one believe that our species is still developing. I think we're getting bigger and smarter. We can learn to control our birthrates. We can avoid blowing our enemies to kingdom come with atom bombs. We can use our incisors to chew veggies. We can have good fun recreation in nature without destroying habitat for our fellow earth-borne life forms.
Your position that we should bulldoze everthing under is something you might try on your own private plot of land. Bribe someone at County Building and Safety to let you do it, then see if your ideas produce anything that satisfies you. In the meantime, please limit your activities on public lands to those that do not permanently impact those lands that belong to EVERY AMERICAN.
