What kind of torque should I use to tighten the pressure plate bolts on my clutch???

engine is a 1993 Mitsubishi 3.0 V6 Twin Turbo

Mine is at 18lbs with red loctite.

11-15 is what mitchell on demand says.
i'd use locktite on it.

i looked up a 93 3000gt

What pressure plate/clutch are you using? Factory,VW,Kennedy etc?
If a Kennedy stage3 (most popular) its 20-25 ftlbs with loctite(red prefered)

It's a Kennedy plate, I torqued them down to 20 and used red loc-tite. Thanks for the help guys

If all else fails, use German specs.....GUUTEN-TITE. thumb.gif JT

I'd look up the bolt size and thread pitch. 8mm x 1.25 is usually 16-18 ft. lbs.
