i have a buggy works lt rail im building . as it get closer to needing a motor,
i can make up my mind what to do??? was going to run subbi or shortstar.
but what i am leaning towards is a v8!! so i was wondering if i could get one to fit or should i stick w/v6 (shortstar)?????
if it is possible to use v8 ,can any body have an ls1 or norhtstar with comp&harness 4 sale or where i could get one at a good price $$$ ??

Those chassis are not set up for a V8. most V6 will work great.

if your in need of a motor i have an almost new Shortstar V6 with less than 15,000 miles on it. i can finish it out if your in need. Probably couldn't get it done for 30 - 40 days though.

it's puts out 275 - 290 HP. Total cost including wiring harness and computer, adapter, clutch pressure plate, fuel pump and filters, air filter, etc. is $5,500. if i had my choice between the two and was only focusing on performacne the Honda is an awesome motor. Shortstar is good too, expecially when you turbo it. icon_biggrin.gif

The Shortstars are great motors but be careful if you go to a turbo. Get someone that knows what they're doing if you put on a turbo. dude.gif headbang.gif
