Alright, I need a new set of paddles, im pretty set at what I want.

Hauler 20x10x10 8 scoop. Where is the cheapest place online to buy them?
LateNate
$71 ea. at RockyMountain
...not sure if that’s the cheapest though.
G1500
Those paddles ahould be fine right? Or should I get the extremes? My current set is pretty worn, so Im gonna take this new setr and switch it to the new bike.
Fireballsocal
Is this for a banshee or the 400ex? any mods?
DUNE
That's what i run on my 250R and I have no complaints.

Don't go with to tall of a paddle or it will beat you to death...

400EX pipe, filter, jetted.
G1500
Whats the difference between haulers and extremes?
Esco
1/8 thicker paddles is all I see different, other dimensions are the same, if you go to the link I put, then click ATV, then put your mouse over the tire they give a description

I am leaning towards the Extremes for my 400
G1500
I was looking at them last night, but didnt order any. It says built after the hauler, but just heavier duty and thicker paddle. "Heavier machines" I wonder if that includes my fat ass on the bike.
Esco
Thats why I am getting them more grip for my 275lbs
G1500
20x10x8

20 Is the total height of the tire
10 is the heighth of the rim
8 is the width

Is that right?

I have 20x10x10 right now, and was thinking maybe I can get a 11" wide tire. Would that be 20x10x11?
G1500
There shouldnt be any problem with a 400EX pulling those extremes becaise they are taller, or would they?
Esco
they are not taller, just thicker..
G1500
Oh so then it shouldnt be a problem. Rocky mountain ATV has haulers and extremes, haulers 70 bucks each, and extremes are 85 bucks. Will probably go with the extremes. blury.gif
Esco
see how much they are right from Skat........
G1500
Um I dunno, I went into their shop once, and the guy told me that he recomends getting them elsewhere cuz they rip you there. He was in the front office.
G1500
Ordered 'em.

20x10x8 = 20" tall by 10" wide with a 8" diameter wheel (more side wall)
20x10x10= 20" tall by 10" wide with a 10" diameter wheel (lower profile tire)

You would need a 20x11x10 if you wanted a wider tire.
I would not put more than 7 paddle extremes on any 4 stroke unless it had more than 60 HP.
Esco
can you pick how many paddles are on it?

20x11x10 is the size of my Edge paddles I currently have
Fireballsocal
skats are all custom made and ordered so you can find 7 paddles. I also think you are over on your paddle choice by one, thats why I asked what bike. 7 paddle will be perfect on that bike. I think you'll notice a loss in top end with the 8's. I wish there was someone with 400ex experience that could tell you for sure. To give you an idea, an 8 paddle in the size you specified is the recommended tire for a banshee with good pipes and jet mods. 42HP rough estimate on the shee. Your bike is closer to 32. A stock 400ex makes 29hp.
40 PSI
We run 6-7 paddle triple buff haulers (22") on 50hp EX's, so a regular hauler on a 32hp 400ex should be a max of 7 paddles with a 20" tire. If you can change the order, please do so.
G1500
I already ordered them, If theres a problem with them, Ill take them off and wait till I get my 450R. Then put them on.
Esco
did a moofer go with the 7 paddle?

rumer has it they are TOPS
moookie132
7 paddle are best.... I have a set 4 sale!
Fireballsocal
The 8's will work great on the 450R.
G1500
Im just going to run plenty of air in them.
Sand Diego Duner
I can say without a doubt that 7 paddle haulers on a piped Predator will beat a piped Predator with 8 paddle haulers every time. My friends even switched bikes to rule out the rider. The bikes were identical to one another. If your going to move up to something more powerful later down the road I would not change my order or not run them... might as well have fun with them since you spent the money. It'll put a smile on your face either way right...
G1500
yup
Esco
how used are they? and $

I got the front tires and rims to match as well!
Esco
those are the edge paddles though, thats what I have right now, I want the straight ones, thanks though
40 PSI
First choice. 22x11x8 7 paddle. Problem is most shops only carry 8 or 10, so plan ahead.

fng2moto
Mike, did you order the right size? Check the other page, hope you did.

last number usually -10 that's the rim, in your post looks like you ordered the 8"

Conner's tires say 20x9-8....8" rim on the Blaster

Mine say 20x12-10...10" rim 12"wide, I think DG rides this too

Esco
when you went 1 down in the front did you put a bigger sproket in the back? if not how many links did you have to take out of your chain?

G1500
Good job esco. You'll be gettin them friday or monday laughing.gif
G1500
Just droped 1 in the front. Stock chain so you cant take links out, I dont think.

Esco, if you drop 1 toth in the front, and add 3 in the back, that will be like droping 2 in the front.
