I really like your setup. The truck looks great. Whats the deal with black bumper? Does ford offer a package like that?
Oldman
I will answer for him. The black bumpers and grill come with the FX4 package. He has pictures in the truck pictures topic of the truck after he put chrome bumpers and grill on the truck.

and theres 1 more on the other side bedroom window icon_biggrin.gif nah, its how the trailer was when i bought it but they are freakin awesome for the summer nite ride weekends when its 120* during the day. with those awnings down they block ALOT of heat from the windows and the 2 15K ac units keep it at a nice 72* all day long

Newby here. I am looking to purchase a WW SL3005 fith wheel. I have an 04 Ford F-150 FX4. The truck will pull it but the problem I am having is with the short truck bed. Has anyone seen or know anyone that is pulling a fith wheel with a short bed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

that is too much trailer for a half ton pick up imho. but do as you wish, be careful. you are going to need a sliding fifth wheel hitch. pull rite makes them, reese makes them, etc. start looking at mfg of hitches, and you will be able to find what you are looking for.

do you have an extended cab f-150, or a supercrew?? if you have a supercrew, i would steer clear of a fiver. there is just not enough bed length there for a fiver. chances are, your going to smack the cab with the overhang during a sharp turn, or backing it up..

+1.. my f-150 has enough trouble pulling my Redline 230fs (5505lbs dry). I couldnt imagine towing a 30ft 5er with it.
