Who's got the hook-up? Either one. I think the Howe is cheaper (dont know the model #) icon_confused.gif , but which one is better quality?

I don't know how many Trophy Trucks run the Tatum power rack but I'm sure it works good. Howe has been around for a while and has a good rep. with the hardcore off road guys. icon_biggrin.gif

The majority of racers use Howe.

Heard nothing bad about the Howe racks and performance. They are a stout unit for sure. The Tatum rack looks pretty though.

Anybody have the hook up on the Howe?? The price is from their wbsite, but I dont know how current it is.
CRAIG_HALL
That particular Pro-am unit wont be out for a while, but there regular rack with Fortin or Howe style mounting should be out in a month or so (currently be made).
KingGlamis
The Fortin racks have a great rep. Gear One also makes one almost identical to the Howe racks.

We have never had one problem with a Howe rack.
BajaDezRacer
No problem with the Howe racks I've run.

Give McKenzie's or Kartek a call for a hook-up.

You'll get a better deal through them, generally, than going direct to Howe.

Dirtracer
i heard the tatum rack may be smoother flowing. I may be wrong here, but i think the howe rack has a sharp 90 right where the fitting is. the tatum rack actually has a 90 but no sharp edges. it runs a smoother flow??

Yea and that ability to "Enlarge" that CAD drawing really made your point clear. laughing.gif

Actually, have not heard that about that issue for Howe vs. others.

Howe racks are proven. Others may have improved them but for 90% of the folks out there the improvements may be questionable if they provide any benefits.

Some systems will generate a lot of heat if you have a big pump, some will not.

Howe offers several different ram sizes which is nice if you want to size it to the car you are building.

Don't know about the others.
