That said, I don't think I'm going to be able to make this... trust me, I really wanted to as I have a lot on my mind and hoped to get some real answers to some real questions.

The favor I'm asking is... would someone who IS attending this meeting ask some questions on my (our?) behalf?

Here's one that can be asked of Nicole Gilles, UDG President.

Absolutely one BIG question that needs to be asked of the udg representative:

Considering Dr. Glenn Haas's published position of limiting visitors at national parks, does the udg have any support of visitor limits at Glamis?

Anyone else have legitimate questions that they would like answers to? Post'm here and maybe someone can get you the answers this weekend.

Keep in mind while posting your question here; if you really want an answer to your question... don't "dig" with it or take cheap shots... these questions will be asked in an open forum and you'd come off looking like a bonehead... and when posting your question here phrase it as you would if you were there (no cussing, get to the point, etc.) ...real questions for the people that just might have the answers thumb.gif

Lets see if we can't get some of the concerns of late addressed and get some of the confusion cleared up.

I'm planning on making it to this one. If I do I'll be glad to ask for you.

Hozay , thanks for the way you are approaching this.
We want the guest speakers to feel welcome and willing to talk freely

I would also invite you to send a copy of your questions to asaboard@americansandassociation.org

Thanks Randy... I'll get a few things prep'd for you in case anyone comes back with something like "what is Dr. Haas' published position?" or "what do you mean by visitor limits?"

This looks to be a very good forum of people to answer specific questions regarding many of our concerns of late. It'd be a shame to not take advantage of it and address a few dude.gif

I posted this in another thread on this BBS specifically at Bob Mason's request:

One other thing I need to bring up about this,

If anyone would like to submit questions ahead of time (this helps the meeting to move along) please submit them to Bob Mason at rwmskm@cox.net . He asked me to put this out. You may not get an email reply, but the question will be addressed at the meeting.

So, send away!
