I know you are giving me a hard time. Right? Seriously though, I see no problem in getting your car done. Since I am delivering anyways it might make more sence to bring it to the desert for you so I can work out any wierd issues that might come about.

I'm not going to lie either about how exciting it could be to sell one of my first cars to you. Plus at the killer price you will be getting if it breaks in half you will have some killer book ends. Just giving you a hard time. I'll keep you posted on that. I have pretty much put that on hold however since I have this blue DD car to clear out of my work space.

I know. But my last day for rebuild was a late one. (9:30pm) I had to get it out to Glamis so Shawn could get his fix. At night the after pictures don't look so great so I did not take any. But I did go out to Glamis to pick the car up last night so I could finish some things that did not get done the first time around. So after I clean off all the dust and sand I will take lots of after pictures.

Here we are waiting for the trunk. Turned out to be really expensive since it took so many people to make it.

Ya the car was done months ago. But it was delivered without the trunk because the trunk looked like crap. Seems the sheetmetal I wanted done was a bit too complicated for certain people. So instead of holding up the delivery of the whole car for a trunk I delivered the car knowing I would need to pick up the car to finish the trunk and whatever else Shawn could think of that needed doing. So Tuesday I get the finished trunk and all is done. Deliver the car out to Glamis on Wednesday. Finally.

Believe me. Nobody wants that trunk done more that me. Any money I made from our favorite WW guy went in to getting this trunk right. But that's the price of doing business right.

As soon as my truck comes back. The camera is in it. The wife borrowed the truck this morning.

Well the trunk got finished and it went off to powder. I did not see it before it went away. BIG MISTAKE...

The lid was so badly done I told Shawn I just can't give it to him. Holes were different sizes and crooked. Some people said I should just give it to him at no cost. My thought was that this is my first car and I am not going to give my first real customer a crappy trunk. So I had the lid done again. But this time I checked in on it and put the brakes on that one too. So I finally found a shop that would take my computer files and make the trunk as it was suppossed to be. EXACTLY.
