The Rose is Near

Those Peaceful moments, few and far in between,
pass us by if we don't slow the pace...
the phrase comes to mind, "Stop and smell the roses,"
to some, might seem like a waste.

Simple signs, they are right before our eyes,
can be the difference from a smile to a tear...
reaching too far only complicates it more,
just slow down, cuz that rose is near...

My nose itches with the smell of Roses. Hey Slappy, just booked my tickets to come visit Mother G for the 1st weekend of the coming season. Halloween that is and I need a ride. Come pick me up at the San diego airport and I'll ride with you to the Heartland of Mother G. Do you have an extra McSlappMachine that I can ride? Oh, and can you also loan me a sleeping bag too? It gets harder and harder to thumb it from the airport these days. I appreciate your help Slapp and I promise we'll have a great time. You and me and Mother G! Peace
