Full Version: Motorhomes -lets See Some Pics
Very nice!!!
Just picked up this 2000 on a Freightliner chassis with a Cummins diesel. 40K miles and one slide. Big step from our older class A gasser with no slides.
Just got back from Sand Mt. on our maiden voyage. Here is what she looked like with the trailer attached and loaded for a dunin' weekend. 70 feet 4 inches from tip to tip. My CHP buddy measured it for me with his official CHP tape measure. She did great in the sand in the camping area of Sand Mt., both going into the camping area which is sand and out with the roads in and out pretty soft from all the use from a busy weekend. So far I am super happy with the new rig. Looking into stackers now.

We picked it up from Sean "aka Headinjury" and Paul over at Giant RV in Irvine. I saw it at the show and knew this was the one. Paul and Sean made it happen! It's a 2008 Fleetwood Discovery 40X.

I just got this one. It's my first MH. It is an '07 Windsport, new. Now I am snowed in as the snow plow only opened up one lane through our street!

1 Glamis trip and 1 drive from Kentuckey so far. St Anthony's will be soon.
Unfortunately for now it's a 365 hp International V8 (similar to the Powerstroke). But the Allison 2500 is great. I'm looking into the larger International 6 cyl that's in the 4400 model. Should just be a bolt-in.
It does pull my 16000# triple axle toybox well and crosswinds aren't noticed. Big difference over the Kodiak chassis that I tried.

2008 Fleetwood Discovery 40x. We love having the Motorhome. We put more miles on the motorhome last year than my daily driver.

Another Showhauler. I actually sold this one new and bought it back from my customer. V800 D16, 16L Motor,525HP,1650 Ft Lbs Trq. 45 Overall length,dual slides,12 speed. 27 k miles. As always,it's for sale.

There’s a turn out right before that hairpin corner that we were going to have you turn around at and back up to the hairpin & then just drive straight up after that, it won't be a problem, probably have to back up maybe a 100 ft, noth’n but a mole hill for a guy like you!
