Slappy was fortunate enough to receive a break from his hectic schedule of protectin da world, fighting for TRUTH, JUSTICE, AND DA........wait a minute, dat be SUPERMANS gig, Slappy sorry.
Anyway, Slappy made a suprise visit to Mother Glamis yesterday, and OH how she was happy to see Slappy; so happy dat she began talkin so much and hyperventilating. You see, Slappy didn't tell her he was comin, so in all her excitement, Mother decided to 'whip-up' a cup of STRONG WIND for da Slapster; Mothers recipe for RIPPLY-DOO-DAHS.
Slappy headed out on to Mother G just before sunset, da direction of the McSlappmachine bein influenced by Mothers howling winds. Mother Glamis had a suprise for Slappy, and Slappy was feelin it. Da sun was shinin bright, yet there was only about 2 hours left before Mr. Sun would set.
Well, what happened next to da Slapster was nothing next to spiritual. And no, Slappy ain't gonna start talkin in tongues or anything like dat, Slappy leave dat up to his brotheren FHJ. Slappy came to a stop at da base of a small bowl and turned the McSlappmachine off. Slappy then heard somethin, a deep hum, but couldn't figure out what it be. Mother was talkin! Slappy walked about 50 yards up da ridge which brought him to a west facing tunnel just around from where Slappy stopped. Slappy was lookin down this sand tunnel that fed itself out to a large, sloped clearing. At this point where Slappy stood, Slappy could see all of Gecko Rd way off in da distance, and thousands of shadows from endless ridges and bowls, a beautiful scene if Slappy do say so himself. Anyway, Slappy couldn't see da ground, for it seemed dat the ground was a conveyer belt of shifting sand set on HIGH, and it was directed right at Slappy. It was as if Slappy was floating. Slappy stood there as Mother provided a ride that was magical, and Slappy wasn't even on the McSlappmachine. Slappy was floatin on Mothers fast moving sand that glistened in the sun. Slappy raised his arms and yelled, "I'm king of da"......ooops, hold on, Slappy won't take dat line either, but you get Slappy's drift. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY SLAPPTACIOUS AND BEAUTIMUS. Have you ever had a dream dat you could fly? Well, this was no dream. The Slapster was flyin, and Mother was providing da wings. Slappy and Mother hung out till Mr. Sun set, and Slappy thanked Mother for the wonderful ride.
Slappy know what Mr. Red Tail feels like everytime he spread his wings. If you've never been out on Mother when her winds are blowin, Slappy think you should give it a try, you might see somethin dat takes your breath away. As Slappy headed back to camp, a full moon cracked da horizon; as if it couldn't get any better.
