Dedicated duners united together to protect and insure the pristine beauty of Glamis.

Dedicated lovers of Mother Glamis, let us join together to protect and insure her pristine beauty for future generations. Our duty as a member requires us to carry bags in our backpacks for trash we see in the dunes; we go out of our way to grab a cigarette butt and place it in our pocket; we pick up cans and bottles and place them in our coolers until no more can be filled; we notice and take action of caution tape tied to a bush; We work hard to clean abandoned fire pits filled with metals and glass. We walk our wash, pad, or flat before we leave with bag in hand. We are the keepers of Mother Glamis, and she is counting on us.

YEEEHHHAAAAWWWW, LET’S PLAY WITH MOTHER G. Ya know, Slap is downright excited about this, and he sure hopes the SlapArmy and all the GD.comers get involved. This is a mission destined for success; we shall dance the night away and feel good about what we are doing for her; through our eyes is the result of perfection. We will feel better than we’ve ever felt before when we leave from a trip. It’s a good feeling knowing you’ve put in some effort on your terms and your own time. Now remember, a little goes a looooooong way. Even if it’s just 1 cigarrette butt, make that effort, and it will work.

There are no names yet for the washes or pads, it is up to you. It could be something like THE RAILERS OF PAD 2; OR THE DUNIN FOOLS OF WASH 1. There can be more than 1 group for a specific area; you don’t have to team up with an entire area. There can be two or three groups for any given area.

So all you do is promise to pick up trash? Well I'm a little late on signing up then

No room for a cooler on my bike, but I do stuff what I can in my camelbag. During the season I'm at Gordon's almost every Thursday. I see most areas are already spoken for but I didn't see I-8 hill on the list - or maybe it goes by a different name Anyway I really pick up all over Gordon's so I don't know that it really matters.

Last year Sunrise Ford Kinda put something together...but nothing organized well or attached to any group...

I've got friends who don't ride but would like to just come out for these clean ups, and it would be great if this were "bigger" again.
