Prez weekend, I was riding my sons 400EX on the way to the drags, just before we got to Olds, the bearing on the output end of the countershaft grenaded grenade.gif
2003 production model, less than 3 months old, less than 20 hours on it.
Dropped it off at Western Honda in Scottsdale, got the answer yesterday, they are fixing it under the warranty, they are fixing it by replacing the engine. Service manager said in 10 years, this is the first time he has seen Honda just replace the engine.

As a side note, if you ever need a tow out of the dunes, any and all help is greatly appreciated but if you can avoid being towed by a DS650 sporting 10 scoop haulers, it would be a good thing  Thanks for the tow, Wrench icon_biggrin.gif
