My throttle cable is super tight on my new 2into1 setup. Like fudged up tight. I was gonna try and use one of these luber gizmos. What is the trick with this? I've seen it used once on a clutch and teh guy just pulled his clutch and attatched it to the exposed cable. Do this with the throttle too? Wont the lube get into the carbs?
Any help?

I use this gizmo...
http://www.protectall.com/cable_life.htmGot it at chapparal, works pretty good once you get the hang of it.
I can bring it this weekend or halloween if you want to try it.

Got it! Have the exact same lube and a slightly different contraption. Now, how is it used?

Have you traced the cable to make sure it is not pinched by the tank or plastics? Did this just start or has it been like this since you installed it?

[attachmentid=44756]You sure you got the right cable with the kit? Trinity sent me a cable for a thumb set up instead of a twist , even though I told them to send a cable for a twist throttle.
I don't know maybe this helps, just a shot in the dark.

Ya you probably need a new cable for the setup, but that cable luber has saved me Many-a-cable. In fact, Im about to use it today on my commuter Civic throttle cable.

(Hondas never stop running, they just fall apart around their motors eventually)
