This weekend we found what we thought was a tool bag in the flats at Gordon's but upon opening it we found it wasn't tools but quite a few fairly expensive gadgets and personal effects. However there is no name or address or other identifying info that we could find in it anywhere. The GPS that was in it has a home address somewhere near Gilbert (and a work address just down the street) marked but no actual address.

Because of the value and types of things in the bag we'd really like to get it back to it's proper owners. So if you or anyone you know lost a yellow bag at Gordon's please send me an e-mail and describe some of the things in the bag. Based on some of what was in it anyone who lost it will definately know they lost it and want it back.

If worse comes to worse we're thinking about just using the GPS to find the owners home next time we're in the Phoenix area

When we first found the bag we though "cool, free stuff" espically when we saw the GPS. But then we dug deeper and started finding things that really should be returned to their rightfull owner. I won't go into detail since we need the owner to identify the contents but among other high dollar items there was at least one medial device (not life threatening if lost but still not cheap) and we decided that not doing everything we could to find the owners would be very bad Karma indeed.

Based on the GPS though whoever it was sure loves the dunes. There were campsites in Glamis, Gordons, and Buttercup listed along with tracks of rides though all parts of the dunes (that are currently open.)

Send the Home and Work coords to someone that lives in the area. Julie is around there.. Then they might be able to find em.. call you and set up a "Meeting"... MOB music plays right here..

Anyhow.. there are lots of zonies with GPS and they could easily find where you are refering to..

Yeah, I've had a couple of PHX area zonies offer to track down the owners for me. But the bag is at my friends house and I won't see him again until this weekend to get the coords. I may just pass the bag off to one of the Mesa folks who've offered help since they're just down the road and can find the owner.

We're heading up to Phx on the second week in April for the Bug-O-Rama (and to pick up my motor) and we're going to try and find the owners house then.
