1dude.gif I was happy to see some sand again. Temp was 45 and rainy this morning in idaho. Can't wait to get to the glamis this year.

My first comment is "I couldn't do near as well myself, so I probably shouldn't say anything".

But since I expect more videos to be coming from Sand Addiction and other sources maybee we can help them out a little.

It would have been nice to see some actual racing. ...Olds hill, the drags, LS utah has one of the best race hills around.

It would be nice to have more names listed with the rails. I liked knowing I was looking at Duneflyers rail,etc... What other owners were on the movie?

The Jumps were average. I see these kind of jumps each trip to the dunes. Nothing special. You would think a video mass produced would have some BIG air. If Sand Addiction magazine does not have some video themselves, maybee some of the forum members could contribute some footage.

Where were the Woop sections in the sand?? I know we all like seeing the guys hit the woops at top speed at the bottom of Olds or sand highway.

What about some commentary on the strength of each riding area? They let you know where they are riding but other than that it is not that easy to tell the difference. I would also bet that other than the oregon dunes most duners could not tell the difference in the video.

I hope this is not taken wrong. I was happy to get the video and I am sure I will watch in several times this winter. I hope people including Sand addiction continue making videos.

Im sure the folks at Sand Addiction appreciate your words of advice. And most of us agree with you, including them Im sure. But let me tell you, putting together a sand video is not an easy task. It is incredibly time consuming. Bith gettin gthe video footage and the editing process. Realize for every hour of footage, you may get 2-3 minutes of quality stuff. And all those hurs have to be veiwed. Meanwhile, your searching with different people looking for music to put on the video...talking to sponsors..duplicators...the list goes on.

On this video, keep in mind it was produced in 3 weeks. That my friends is fast.
I spoke with the Sand Addiction crew and gave them my review. I mentioned things I thought could be improved and they were open to them. This was a GREAT first shot at a video. They will get better. I give them a lot of credit for producing a video of this quality in such a short time. I know you give them credit as well. There is nothing wrong with constuctive critisism. I look forward to the next Sand Addiction movie.

we watched it on sanddunesaddicts trailer... hooker point style and i was glued to the trailer the whole time.. Great movie... but i do agree.. that a car hitting the whoops at top speed would be nice... and maybe one or two scenes of the drag action...not all glorified like quicksand... but maybe a minute or two.. icon_biggrin.gif thumb.gif thumb.gif is my vote
