I don't think two of any kind is enough!! I have two of the
Soltek 8 inch HIDs and with the way the LT rear engine cars drop the a$$ under
power....this is not cuttin it. I'm going to put 4 more on the roof to be sure I'm not over driving my available light.

I would do three. Two will work but three will give better spread coverage.Four even better.

If you go with the Lazer Stars buy the 13.8 volt 100w not the 12V. I have gone through 5 lights in three trips. The folks at Lazer Star (Suzie, Ryan and Ron) have been excellent to work with and have covered them under warranty. They switched to another manufacturer and had some issues. Last weekend I used them for one night and the reflector cracked starting at the base where the plugs are and it went all the way up the side. This same thing happened to two others. Ron is sending me new 13.8V 100W lights as we speak to replace them. For anyone wondering I know heat is an issue and I don't even flip them on until I start rolling forward and I shut them off as soon as I come to a stop.

As for the original question I started out with two Lazer Stars and two Acro's. After one night ride I added a lightbar with 4 Acro's. The light bar made a huge difference and I feel much safer. It was worth the money to me.

Another option is to run the two ACRO HId and add a set of the Hella FF300 with 55w Bulb and driving lens.Look very similar to Acro housing and can be purchased for appx $120 for complete kit.Shop around online for best price.Acro Hids will give best light and Hella will add in nicely.Heck run two sets of the Hellas for that price along with the Acros for max ligt.I think you will be much happier than with the Lazers.Plus if the 55w bulb isnt enough you can always put in a bigger one for appx $20 pair.
Hey,did you ever get the PRP gift certificate?

Dennis, It was in todays mail.. Thanks.. What brand of light is that in your pic? Joe

thats the hella ff300. Looks a lot like the Acro 968 HId doesnt it.So match up cosmetically and price should work out well for good lighting.
