What are the stock/average top speeds for these quads. How can I compete with my present competition on a DS650?? :?

DS650's of the past have had some great speeds in the top end as well with the rest of the range. This years DS has some gearing changes that boast mid 70s to mid 80s. Bombadier says this years DS will be the fastest quad out. You can mimic the gears from this years and produce the same top speeds.

ds is the top stock cuz of the cc's and the rpm's. Banshees and Raptors are DEAD even stock. Iv'e have owned all three and still have the Banshee and Raptor

I think that chart is full of crap. Does anyone know what the real top speeds are.

sorry to say but I think thats pretty close to the truth .You probaly lean some of the bikes out to gain some more speed but not that much /w/ the canninbust you get perfect jetting every time .Through $500 at each bike and the Banshee will win every time .

That chart looks good to me. Remember, it's not necessarily the horsepower that determines top speed but gearing. My banshee couldn't pull sixth gear in the dunes so I had to gear it down. Now, it actually goes faster because the gearing lets it use sixth. Just because the chart says one bike is faster than another doesn't make it so. It just means that that particular quad has a redline and gearing to do that speed.

In my group, most of us have Raptors. My buddy has one of those digital "do-hickeys" installed on his Raptor. His bike is bone stock and the fastest his digital "do-hickey" recorded was 72 MPH. this was in the desert on hard pack. He also had a GPS in his pocket and it gave the same reading (72 MPH) I have had my Raptor in Glamis one time and don't think you could get that speed in the sand. I couldn't even get it out of four gear in the sand. Hope this helps.

well, i havent gps's it yet myself, but the predator hauls a$$. as soon as a ifugre out where to mount my gps on it, ill test it.

I Know for a fact that a stock DS will beat all of the stock bikes up there. I believe the key word here is stock. No jetting, no pipe, no gears, just plain stock.
