Yep agree with you on the line thing, we were leaving, if you saw them you probably saw me, the 48 foot racer trailer, those guys did cut pretty bad and ended up in front of me, i had a couple other vehicles in our group and just told them to be courteous and go one car at a time per line, jeez for 25 bucks for a weekend we should get a coned off line/s. Seeing the chaos today with the sucks and the assholes, i would figure one big line coned off with one ranger at the bridge directing traffic over the bridge would be ideal i would think.
Btw my buddy saw that buggy cut us and asked me if i wanted him to do me a favor and go rip thos fenders off!

Nice advertising. Superduty Headquarters is very sucessful (at least locally - Mesa, AZ); but I hope that doesn't make Ryan (the owner, and driver in the picture) think he is above other people (lots of them his customers).
NOT cool!
Great pictures, thanks for the posts...keep 'em coming.

I almost got rammed in line by some girl in a Ford Ranger trying to force her way into the front. I saw her blow past the lines and try to sneak in - then when I refused to let her in she rolled down her window and started bitching at me. I told her straight up that I watched as she ignored the lines and tried to sneak in - she the tried the "But my parents are up there" line. If she wanted to be so close to her parents she should have waited in line with them instead of trying to force her way in.
Based on her truck, her attiitude and her overall appearance my instant assumption was spoiled little daddys girl rich bitch who felt she was better than everyone and deserves special treatment because her dad's got cash.
Sorry girl, welcome to the real world. My GF who's the most laid back person I've ever met almost jumped out of her seat to confront her. But then again it was my GF's truck that bitch almost rammed and Amy is VERY protective of her truck since she actually had to spend her own money to buy it

Thankfully the vast majority of people out there were extremely patient in line. It was the few bad apples that really got by blood boiling...espically after sitting for over an hour and only going 500feet with the sun beating down on me.

You don't advertise for them on your truck do you

If so did you have it out:

Based on how many stickers were on it though I figure it was with their own group.

Looks like Karma caught up with someone today. As I was leaving there was a whole caravan of familiar looking line cutters pulled over by the dumpsters.
May be a nice shop. But I wouldn't spend a dime there after half the stuff I've seen their crew pull at the drags and in the flats.
Didn't see them much this weekend so I don't know what they got nailed for. But if the past is any indication it was probably fish in a barrel for the cops.

I am not sure if this is the same buggy, but it looks like the one that was all waded up on a trailer this morning in Buttercup. The story I heard was he went end over end near the dunes in Buttercup and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Does anyone know anything? Want to make sure he is OK?

I think bringing back a post three years old constitutes a bit more than just a crush
Since most of our stuff is stickered up we are a bit more high profile... For what its worth I can still remember the lines from three years ago and there were 5 or 6 different lines leading out of GW for the Thanksgiving weekend, we did not cut anybody off on purpose, we might have gotten lucky on which line we got in... Which never seems to happen at the movies or the grocery store! As far as the "girl" goes, it was a 16 yo that was with our group in line, after being in line for a while she needed to run to the out houses, she was just trying to get back in with her group after that was done.

I started to run the drags friday night, and after3 runs I was done, besides being to narrow, some asshat decided to pull out of the crowd right in front of me, I threw the car sideways to avoid killing the 2 people, and almost barrel rolled thank god for horsepower to straiten the car out, the drags were a major disapointment it sure felt as if every idiot in the duning world was out this weekend, by far the worst I have ever seen in many, many years, so I tried again saturday night, way to narrow 50 ft wide and 25 ft at the end, not safe, I was suprised more people did not end up dead.

I was thinking the same thing Saturday afternoon.. and just luv how they run all the way down.. 2 miles long wide open just asking for trouble. Honestly the rangers/ popo should caution tape it off and keep the crowds back. But that would be supporting it I suppose. I swear common sense takes a back seat to stupidity sometimes. I parked my shee for a bit when it got so crazy.

Very few photos this weekend

Forgot to charge the bats for my camera, and forgot to bring the charger

Went up to the drags early on Saturday but while the lines were forming there was no one running yet. Then I had to go on a rescue mission to Buttercup. Two of the women from our camp got pulled over - they passed 3 rangers with no problems, a 4th who gave them a friendly wave...and then 1 "weekend special" import LE who pulled them over and claimed they had a kid sitting on their lap. They pointed out that the kid was and had always been sitting on the bench between them. The officer then tried to give them a hard time about not having seat belts to which they replied "It's a golf cart!" They agreed to drive no further than vendors and to have someone (me) bring back a truck with car seats to take the kids back to camp at Gordon's. No ticket just a bunch of BS so everyone was over it. And I got to have a nice solo cruise back to Gordon's in the Golf cart (I didn't want to drive the kids!) which was pretty relaxing.
I did see that orange car with the front wadded up on a trailer over by the plank road. I was looking for Buddie's camp and thought it was his car at first...but then I got a better look. Never did find Buddie though, wondered if they were already gone.

Being so "high profile" it's a lot easier to remember when you see so many Richard Cranium moves from one group. Multiple vehicles with the same stickers all doing stupid stuff tends to be hard to forget. If they had just been nice trucks/rails/Rv's doing stupid stuff it would just blend in with the other RC's out there. But being all stickered up the pattern is easy to pick out.

Tell yourself what you want to believe. But I know what I saw. It wasn't a matter of picking a better line. It was a matter of driving alongside 3-4 lines then pushing in at the front. Not just grabbing the end of a short line - full on shove the nose in there and redneck your way to the front with a good 8-10 rigs behind getting pissed off about being cut off.
Again, not the only person who did it that weekend. But pretty boneheaded move if you've got your company name plastered all over it for people to see and remember.

The car did great I seam to have a problem with the shifter though, holloween I snapped the shifter off at the base, this weekend I ripped the shifter knob off. I have to get it fixed. Way to many idiots out this last weekend, I just cannot believe how stupid people are when your coming at them at 90, like a dear in a headlight, people really need to think before there dead, if I would have hit the dumbass who pulled in front of me they would be dead, then would the others learn, or would I just go to jail for manslaughter, and it would just continue. dumb-f--ks

Does anyone know why Ogilby road was shut down Wed night around 11pm, they weren't letting anyone through and sending all the rigs to Buttercup?
The cops shut it down because the washes were running across Ogilby road. I got there just before they shut it down and drove right through the middle of the dirt road to the left of Ogilby road with almost 2ft of water running down it. Every body else tried to go around the water and just got stuck.
