Cars don't have a wet clutch bikes do .You need oil that helps the wet clutch .Yea sure the oil is more $ but a clutch aint cheap either . So pony up get the good stuff , Treat your bike good and it won't leave you stranded.

Yamalube is the only 4 stroke motor oil clearly labeled: "No Friction Modifiers" on the container.
Believe me, 40 years of wet clutch rides,,, this is the stuff to run.
20/40 wt in your Raptor, year round brother.
I can't prove it, but I probably have more hours on my '02 Raptor than anyone outside of a rental unit,, and besides of the rear skid plate falling off,,, excellent results.
March 15th Dumont clean up,, stop by the Sand bar at our campsite Sat nite,,

Duneraider I would have to disagree. Amsoil is a 100% synthitic oil that says on the bottle designed for WET CLUTCH use in all 4 stroke engines ( motorcycles, atvs)

 I just changed the oil on my six quads, at $7/qt for Honda oil, x's 2 qts/bike, that was $96, plus tax, just for oil. Maybe I'll look at other manufacturers now....Suggestions anyone?

Don't feel bad--4 qts synthetic oil for Hayabusa engine @ $14 = $56 for one sand toy.

I stand corrected,, I wrote that wrong. It's the only oil I've been able to find that has it on the container.
The Honda stuff makes no mention, at least the oil my Honda dealer stocks doesn't mention it, and I can't find the Suzuki 4 stroke stuff, nor Kawalube, nor Amsoil at my neighborhood dealers.
So I don't guess and dance with the container that says it.
Thanks for the tip.

MOTUL'S 10/30 desighned for 2-stroke gearboxes /w/ wet clutch $5.00 /liter . I buy it by the case from Chap. they deliver to my door for like $15 it's cheaper than dealing /w/ the local mark-up kings so it's like $75 / season for oil alone .and they say golf & skiing are big $
