Hey Mike..What kind of camera/lens do you use most of the time?? I have a Nikon D70s and I just bought 80-200mm f 2.8 lens for it..Im hoping to shoot some pics out in the dunes one of these days..Does the sand get inside your camera at all? How do u protect it? Sorry to hijack your post

f2.8! sweet! The 70-200mm f2.8 I want is $1699
I use a Canon 20D with a 100-400mm lens. Just got a cover for the lens from stormjacket.com
Never had issue with sand in teh camera but I try to be as careful as I can. The outsides get dusty sometimes.
