Nope didnt blow em. Just feel a tad bit on the soft side considering im a 250 lb guy and only 5' 8". Unless I can get some stiffer springs I wanna try the Ohlins. My friend said he would buy the fox's off me so I figure if im gonna buy shocks I might as well get some decent ones. Or better yet does anyone know anyone that wants to sell theirs? I'd be interested in trading or buying em from them. Thanks.

WELL JOHN FOR SOMEBODY THAT BOUGHT THE BEST QUAD EVER YOU SURE SEEM TO BE MAKING A LOT OF CHANGES TO IT IN A HURRY WHAT ARE YOU TIERED OF GETTING BEAT RUNNIN DOWN THE DRAGS BY EVERY RAPTOR , BANSHEE AND DS-650 OUT THERE . NEW SHOCKS AREN'T GOING TO STOP YOU FROM HITTING THE REV LIMITER ALL THE TIME .

Changes? What the hell have I changed on my quad in a hurry? If you think some billet and a silencer is a big change then you must be one stupid mother .....you dont even know what your talking about so shut your trap. Are you trying to say you dont have any billet or pipes and stuff like that?

John have you tried to adjust the spring tension on the foxes? The Fox shocks are a very good quality shock and I can't see spending 700 bucks on some Ohlins if you can fix the problem by adjustment. How's the rear shock working out or are you having problems with that one too.
Oh and by the way could you please reframe from calling people Mother puckers thanks...

The fox's are great. However, Im a heavy guy and I prefer my shocks on the stiffer side. The only way for me to get my front shocks stiffer is buy cranking down on the coil which ends up taking away all my down travel. I was thinking of going to stiffer springs in front. The rear I have no complaints. I think the rear is awesome. Would anyone happen to know where I can get stiffer coils? Im not really complaing about the suspension. I just dont like riding around with my suspension all topped out. Excuse my french in the previous post but someone just seemed to butt in for no apparent reason. *ahem*

the new foxes on the predators are notorious for being springy. call up Alba, they can set you up with some ohlins for a pretty good deal. Ohlins are definately a good replacement shock, you may also wanna look into to Motowoz shocks. you will be seeing alot more of them soon www.motowoz.com

I think that is what I'll do. Im gonna give Alba a call. I want some shocks badly or at least some stiffer springs. Does anyone know what other spring will fit on the Fox shox?

I've seen works/werks? shocks out there, and the people I've spoken with like them, anyone have experiance with them over the Ohlins and Fox?

John
I wiegh 275 rode my buddies predator hard and thought the springs were fine.... You should on a bike set up for your style of riding and if you are not getting faster then you should bottom out the shocks 1 time per day. This means you are utilizing the shock to its full abilitys. Another way to moniter use is a plastic cclip to see if you are utilizing the full stroke.
Now if you are upgrading for a smoother ride so its like a caddy to reduce fatigue then go for it.

Hey DRJCHASE I am just looking for a "simulated" Caddy ride. Might as well go for it while I can.
