HI, THIS IS KYLES MOM AGAIN.....
WE JUST FOUND OUT THAT IT WOULD BE EASIER FOR US TO HAVE OUR EVENT FOR MY SON ON THE 21ST OF JAN. THERE ARE FOUR GAMES ON THE 15TH AND HE WOULD HAVE TO CLOSE THE BAR FOR OUR SERVICE.
I WILL UPDATE YOU ON THE DATE AND TIME
I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO COMPETE WITH FOOTBALL GAMES ON THE DAY WE WANT TO CELEBRATE MY SONS LIFE AND MOURN HIS DEATH.
IT WILL ALSO GIVE US TIME TO PREPARE OUR DVD's AND SO ON. ALSO OUR FIGHT FOR ALL DUNERS TO KEEP THE RANGER STATION OPEN AND MAKE SURE THEY DONT TAKE AWAY THE MEDICAL HELICOPTER, AS REPORTED THEY ARE.
I DONT WANT MY SON TO DIE IN VAIN

Thanks Mike!
If you guys have not read the thread, I highly recommend it. You may need a few Kleenex to get thru it, but well worth it. Maybe if anyone is having a Taco Tuesday etc. soon, you could set up a donation jar for this family. Every little bit helps them during this rough time. Thanks again GD.com, you guys all rock.

Thank you for posting QueenGlamis.... We are having the whole bar and parking lot available to us. We are going to put some awnings up and I think I want a table with Glamis info for our fellow riders so they can write to the authorities. We just found out they are taking away the Air Lift Helicopter for good. They say there are no funds.
Anyway put the kleenex away, we want everyone to know Kyle was one lucky kid and very cool. We want Glamis stories and everyone in jeans. I have enough time to cry for the rest of my life.
He had a Honda 450 four stroke and rode it well. If anybody has any ideas of how to make this an event he would be proud of please write on this site.
Thanks again
Angel

Doug and I may be able to make the trip to attend this. All the GlamisDunes Family is invited, even if you didn't know Kyle personally. He is that cool kid in camp that rides every chance he gets and still has time to hang with the other little moofers running around camp. He is that kid that makes his parents' proud, laugh and their world a better place.
So if you can make it, please do. I think it would mean alot to him, and his family.
Thanks!

We are having about 50 pizza's made, because it was Kyle's favorite food, and every table will have Skittles and StarBursts on it because it was his favorite candy.... Our friend is making 100 more T-Shirts with a rider on the back and Kyles plate number...so we will be handing them out. It's from 10am to 3pm on the 21st. See you there...

Thanks Angel, but I did it for you, not for the publicity. I hope you and everyone who gets a copy enjoys them. It was a pleasure meeting you and I hope you get to meet MANY of the wondeful people from the Glamisdunes board. They are a great source of strength when you need it most...

I KNOW YOU DIDNT DO IT FOR THAT REASON, BUT THAT EVEN MEANS MORE TO ME. I HAVE BEEN GOING TO GLAMIS FOR ABOUT 25YRS AND HAVING THE EXTENDED GLAMIS FAMILY WHEN YOU NEED THEM IS SOMETHING THAT PEOPLE SHOULDNT TAKE FOR GRANTED. WE ARE A HUGE SOURCE AND A FORCE TO BE RECOND WITH. AND I FOR ONE AM GOING TO MAKE SURE BLM AND THE RANGER STATION KNOWS THAT.
YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE GREAT TOM. AND OF COURSE YOUR ADORABLE DOG.
