Why hasn't the Wash road been graded properly and the dust abatement treatment been done?

Why is there so much inconsistency in the enforcement of laws and regulations?

Is there any intent for a push to recind the Comp. Hill curfew/closure?

Thanks. I asked both questions at last meeting, and will do so again.

What about more speed enforcement along wash road. It is just a matter of time before we get another death on that road due to speeding and idiotic behavior.
JET
From what I gather from the thread about the death of Kyle Przysiecki the BLM once again has failed the duning community as a whole and this family specifically.

We are asking everybody to please write in to the BLM and the Gov. Arnold S. to explain to us why at the busiest time of the year at Glamis why the ranger station was closed at all during this time when the dunes are in full swing . We need to effect change to make sure that the office at least staffed with at least three people 24 hrs. a day seven days a week during dunning season . So we all know 911 will not dispatch an air mercy with out a ranger ,paramedic, CHP or other official on hand, i know this from a first hand experience because i tried and so did others that day with no success, lets not let this happen to someone else .

Why was this allowed to happen?

LoBuck
Jet - Both added. Thanks.

Great job again Tim.

Here is a question,

What are some of the unusual items you've hauled out of the dunes?

Robbie with out a doubt the stangest item i found was down on gecko road
after thanks giving. there was a tent there for a week so i finaly went up to is and to my surprize
it was a poop tent some IDIOTS pooped in this tent for probubly a week or so .so i got out my mask and rubber gloves and loaded the poopy tent into the back and deposited it in the dumpster.

Got it Vicki. Thanks.

Here are a few questions I have.

1.What is the staffing level, including minimum staffing of sworn LEO's and/or FD staff. I know on New Years they had imported fire rigs from outside areas.

2.Do they have a ranger in the park 24/7.

3. When the ranger office is closed, as in a holiday, do they still have staffing working the field.

TKS,

Mike
LoBuck
Got 'em Mike. Thanks.

Glenn...I can't add to the good questions posted here. Thanks for trying to get answers to them though. They seem to be valid questions to me, and I look forward to hearing the blm's answers.

Yes, we got a lot of good questions from here, the ASA BBS, and from the Feedback Form on www.isdratrt.org

We'll be trying something new during tomorrows meeting. If it works, the audio will recorded and posted on isdratrt.org

Keep your fingers crossed... maybe your toes too. icon_wink.gif
