Full Version: Need A Really Cheap 2 Seater Frame
Anyone have an old or new low dollar 2 seat frame laying around? My younger cousin is wanting a rail, I have a lot of old VW parts laying around. He is a good kid, works his tail off and deserves a little fun. This will be a total swap meet build. Willing to pick up used unwanted parts laying around the garage. To keep this as a technical post, we will post photos of the worlds most affordable rail. Thanks

Have you looked on thesamba.com? I think there was a couple cheap older frames there. May have been out of state, but worth a look?

All the affordable unfinished projects were back east. Bummer
Thats how my project started as.got it done already.I have a pair of fiberglass low back seats,10 gallon 8 inch tank(need to moify the filler tube to accept new style gas caps)with new tank straps,

I think Rick still has this one on the side of his house....lots of assembly required though

I am selling a complete running rail for $3500, Ill let it go for 3k even for a board member, all it needs is paint and a better wiring job.
I have an old chenowith econo frame with title for $300, gonna need a couple of cracks welded, Im in Ramona
will throw in the chrome tank and straps and any of my other left over stuff you want...
