A friend of mine is wanting to build a GSXR powered Quadzilla. Notworthy.gif He is trying to find a shop that is capable of doing this conversion but keeps running into dead ends. Anyone know of a reputable shop that does this kind of work? Thanks

It takes a complete motor package, with wiring harness, 8-10 months and 5-6k.
I did mine by myself over the summer, it wasnt too bad, with some basic fab knowledge.

heres the post.--> FZR-LT-500

oops, forgot the link. coocoo.gif

Heres some more

BTW, does your friend have the GSX yet? I know of a federal impound yard where you can wrecked bikes CHEAP! The motors are usually still good, and you can get all the other needed stuff too, Ignition boxes, coils, wire looms etc. icon_wink.gif

That thing looks bad-a$$. What kind of riding can you do with it? How much more than stock does it weigh?

He doesn't have the motor yet. His Quadzilla is too nice to tear down and build, so he'll have to get another Qaudzilla too. He's still trying to figure what the project would cost and who can do it.

It tips the scales @ 530 lbs, it's a pig .......... but a fast pig! Holeshots arent that good as it just hazes the tires as it tries to get this sled moving. The front end get light, but not crazy light, in 1&2nd gear. Tell your friend good luck and he should start combing the junkyards and insurance yards for the bike he wants, I will help anyway I can, this is my fourth hybrid build, I must say, it's a shame to see another LT-500 bite the dust.
