second run it pops the whole way down the track except when i lift which was most of the way down the track
back in the pits i figure im done for the day so i watch a few runs then i decide to pull the plugs and to my
sunday comes around now
Time trail one 3.72 et (best at this track) straight and clean
Time trial two 3.74 et straight and clean
i dial a 3.85 since by the time eliminations start heat is usually out and the car will slow down
round one i run 3.72 on a 3.85 dial fortunately the guy i ran against redlit and i had to chase him down in a big way so i won anyways even if i did break out
round two straight up win off the lights and down the track i even lifted at the end to ensure no breakout cause i could only change my dial .10 to a 3.75
round three winner gets a trip to the finals i run a 3.76 on a 3.75 dial and lose by .013 which was on the reaction time we both ran .01 off our dial
hopefully i got the car sorted out better than its ever been now, the last 4 or 5 races have been going great running deeper into rounds than ever before just looking for that first win, i think the biggest thing that has changed my racing though was taking fridays off, getting to the track at a reasonable time and being relaxed, this in combination of knowing what to do and how to drive the car better in all of the situations (usually always in staging)
