All i can tell you guys is, everything that you may have thought about Kasey in the short time that you knew him, is all true. His family and friends spoke at the service, and just reinforced what an awesome person this kid really was. The loss is huge for those left behind.
Towards the end of the service, the people of gd.com, and the thoughts conveyed here were mentioned with great respect. The family and friends had all seen what has been posted here and were touched by the words that they saw.
I can't tell you how pround i felt to be part of this awesome group of people here, yet at the same time, so sad for how all of this had to come together.
sailaway, her husband, wildbill, astars, jen, zippy, family of four and myself sat speachless thru most of the service. it was not an easy thing to sit thru, but i was touched by the lessons i learned.
always live life to the fullest, help whenever you can, find new friends where ever you go. this was the way Kasey lived.
I am honered to have met the man...

To Kasey's family and friends....
I just wanted to let you all know that you continue to be in my thoughts and my prayers. It's only been a couple of weeks and you must be taking one day at a time, and if that is even too much, then an hour at a time.
Just remember there are many who support you silently.

I remember that day well...
I got a call from Supreme air, from the dunes. I was home he had just left the scene as I recall. I don't think the two of us had ever spoke before that call and he was clearly upset with what he had just drove up on...
In one day I lost a friend and gained a new one...
