I have a +4 on my Banshee. How important is a chain slide/guide. I plan to get a Cascade slide but probably not by this weekend. I don't think I will get a guide at all. Any ideas?

GET THE GUIDE OR YOU WILL TEAR UP YOUR SWING ARM! I'M PLUS 7 ON MY BANSHEE AND WITH OUT THE GUIDE I WOULD TEAR IT UP.

Are you talking about the guide near the rear sprocket or the slide at the front of the swingarm? Also, should the chain have a bit more slack than stock on an extended swing?

without the slider towards the back you will through the chain real easy without the one in the front you will tear up the swingarm alot . you just spent good money on the swingarm don't waste it . call around find a stock one somewhere use the old one . you don't want to be running the hill right in the middle of the whoops when that chain come off it would not be a good career move .

Instead of Cascade, try UPP.

With a +4 swingarm on a Banshee, how much slack is tolerable on the chain? 1 in, 1 1/2, 2?

How many links are needed for a +6 swingarm on a banshee with 13/41 sprockets?
