I am looking to get 2 o3Raptors. What can I expect with these Units??? I have an o2R1 and my brother just got an o3R6 so I know how Yamaha builds there units as I do the maintenance on both Units.

What necessary mods should be done on these Quads?? I heard that there is an Air Box mod I will need to do to free up some scoot. Is this true? Additionally, the gears or something to that effect?

I have a 02 raptor. Just rejetting with holes in the airbox will give you a little extra HP 3 I believe (dirtwheels). You might consider checking out the predator if you are going to leave it in stock form. Plus it is a grand cheaper. I have put a-arms, zero-preload shocks, Pipe, filter, 10.75 piston, Cam, port, polished, trailtech comp&lights, and on order 3" extended swing arm, +4 axle, stock front sprocket, 44 rear sprocket, new chain, (waiting on the stuff from Shan-o buddy)and a elka rear shock.

When you add it up your wife will divorce you. (thank god my friends gave me all this stuff )

I can't deny it predator is a good package stock.

Thanks Doc, but I never leave well enough alone. My R1 is far from stock and my wife has been forewarned that the Raptors will not remain stock all that long as well.

Go see Alba in Poway. Get the full pipe, air filter (k&n kit), and jet kit. It is the ceapest around and provides the mostbang for our buck. I have it on by 01 and i beat all my friends that have different pipe and air filter combos. Some eve payed like $600 just for a alien pipe.

Since you live in Las Vegas, you can also order over the internet. They have a website.

Shane thanks for the link, and this Quad is downright NAZZTY. I likes lots all but for the sticker kit echh. And it claims to put out 65hp. Dayummm.

I've got my R1 putting out a lil over 150hp.
