Blaster fuel mix question:
Folks,
I just got a 99 blaster that has the injector pump disabled. I have no idea what fuel ration the previous owner used, but it ran fine for me until I had to re-fuel. I used the 20:1 Yamalube mix I have for my old 82 YZ 250. The Blaster ran great for about 20 seconds, then went to sleep and fouled the plug.

I cleaned the plug, and it did it immediately gain. I called the local Yamaha shop, and they said that a Blaster, with an FMF pipe, should run 20:1 on Yamalube.
What am I missing? The plug is a NGK B8ES.

My guess is try and get ahold of the previous owner and find out what he ran.

My brother ran his old blaster 32:1 with yamalube.
