Anyone know where I can pick up an either new or GOOD, used steering knuckle for my banshee. The one I have is bent and because of it being bent launched me off of my bike this past weekend going downhill when one of my front tires 'flopped' waaaay to the right. The tire almost pointed backwards. Anyhow, any info would be appreciated... THANKS!!

well, I need those too but that's not the problem. The steering knuckle is bent where the tie rod end attaches to it to turn the wheel.

Sal, heres a part microfiche. It seems the part you are talking about is part of the actual stem if I read that correct.

Thanks Mike... but it's the opposite end... the steering knuckle that's just inside the rim and tire, where the outside end of the tie rod attaches to. I really appreciate your help... cuz if I keep riding that bike like that it's gonna end up killing me

DOH!!!!!!! oh you mean that steering knuckle? :roll2: Sorry about that. How in the he77 did you break/bend that ??? I figured a tierod would snap LONG before it ever gets to that. At $200 a pop a understand why you are looking for one.

it happened in a head on collision with another banshee.... neither the tie rod nor the rim, nor the rear axle survived that crash!!

Hey Sal,
Try HY-Tech atv in Yucaipa. I've bought a lot of stuff from them when I built my Banshee. I think they have a Salvage yard.
Good Luck

Thanks a lot for all your guys' help. Hopefully I'll get this fixed soon...

Call both Cal-ATV and Hy-tech, figure about half of retail from either source. I've used both and they are both good and cool. You might even ask Sandtoyz if they can get or have the used parts.
