DS650-FOX
Thinking about a rev limiter for my DS. Am I going to have more problems with overheating, piston, etc..? 1000 rpm's enough? Do I need to put a tach in or run anything differently? :?

how about re-gearing it???

Considering th 04's are going to have their rev limiter raised from the factory, I see no problem with it.

raised by how much??

So are you looking to buy an 04Bomb or buy the part and put it on your quad?

Neither, I was just answering the guys question. I know the new DS's are going to have the limiter raised from previous models, with no other changes to the engine. I just couldnt remeber how much.

You shouldnt have to do anything. I would look into regearing it first though.

Shane the new are supposed to be around 300 rpm more. I could be a few off though.

I run the Ron Woods unliminted (no limit) and it is the best upgrade for the money. You will not regret it. Wrench :burn:
