I am selling my motor and drive train (not the axles) off my Rhino along with the electronics, cooling system, digital display, K&N air Filter, CVT FIlter and everything else you need to make it run. The motor has aprox 30 hours on it and is currently in my Rhino. Everything is in excellent condition and the buyer can view the motor running in my Rhino. I am located in San Diego and will be out at Gordons this weekend.

Jet ski motor, 2005 Rotax 4-tech 1503 SC IC. Lookin at 190-200hp to the ground. It is gonna be spendy, but it should be a blast. I will try to keep everyone updated with pictures and the lil problems that I run into along the way. I was just waiting for the end of the season to start my project.
Its all about havin fun right?

i really have a hard time understanding why people are doing this. you spend 10K on a rhino and then you trash 2/3's of the thing. so basically your paying for a chassis from yamaha for 10K. why not start from scratch? my .02. it will be cool thou to have that motor in something.

Can the axles handle that much power?

The 4wd will be removed and stronger axles wil be put in the back along with a stronger diff.
Crip. I never intended to do as much as I have on my Rhino, it just kind of happened and Im having fun with it. The cage was put in when I learned about people sticking their feet out, when a Rhino rolled, and getting them crushed. The motor that I got for it happened by chance through a friend and I would not be doing the swap if I had to buy it. Basicly I have the motor and friends who know what they are doing to help me put it in, otherwise this project would be very expensive. I am fortunate that it has all worked out the way it has.
If i ever have the money, I would love to get a long travel buggy, but for now the Rhino will more than do.

That thing is going to be sweet! Did you relocate the gas tank and lower the seats?

Yeah, the seats are lowered about 10" and moved out 6". I now have a fuel cell in the bed.
