[attachmentid=92333] How about a few other types of side by sides. Prowlers, Rangers, etc. I've posted pics of mine in the past, but just to mix things up a little bit I'll re post them again. Mine is in last months, and this months issues of CartWheelin' magazine. I have a pdf file of that article I'll try to post with some pics. It's for sale if anyone wants a to have a really trick Prowler! I want to start a new project, only reason I'm selling it, I love this thing!

Jul 22 2006, 03:40 PM
that prowler is so sweet I love the round tubing on it versus the rectangle. way sweet how much I am not interested in buuying but curious.
JOHNBISHOP
Jul 22 2006, 03:49 PM
It's listed for sale on DragonFireRacings web sit for $25000.00. I'd sell it for less than that. Probably still to hot out to get anybody serious on it. Probably put it in a few of the up coming sand shows. Come season, I don't think I'll have much problem finding a new home for my baby. If you look at the bottom of the page on the last picture posted you'll see where it say's PDF file attached. Click on that if you want to see this months magazine article. Thanks for the props on the car!

Same thing, just not so pretty. I want one that I can pound on in the mountains, desert, and dunes. I've always wanted to have a magazine quality vehicle since I was a kid reading HotRod. I love this Prowler, and its fine for the dunes. The paint has (had, I fixed it) only like two very small chips in it from rocks. I just can't bring myself to take it in the mountains or desert with my car. One trip out and it'd be toast. My entire family likes the driving these, so I want one that I can throw anybody the keys to, without worrying about a 4k paint job, or a 1500 dollar TV etc. Drive it, enjoy it, buy new plastics every season. That'd be the plan, of course my wife doesn't beleave that I'll be happy with a stock looking one for more than a day or so....I've been with her for 21 years......what does she know anyway!
Maxxrhino
Jul 23 2006, 09:57 AM
Tell her ya IT WON"T BE STOCK, just the money from paint will go into the chassis or other custom stuff...have you seen the seats that prp is making for the front of the prowler also they have a rear bench with 3 headrests for the kiddies...
JOHNBISHOP
Jul 23 2006, 11:19 AM
I do like those front seats, and speaking just for myself, my youngest is 16 so I don't want a back seat. My kids would never fit! You know the stock front seats are very comfortable, that's the main reason I haven't replaced them. Did you ever replace the motor in your rhino? I seam to remember you talking about doing that a few months back-
Maxxrhino
Jul 23 2006, 02:48 PM
No I did not we are going to do the whole race thing with this thing, so I cannot do a transplant I may if I find a good deal on a rhino with a blown motor, do one later but till then I am doing the race rhino deal...

Plan is to pretty much leave it stock and use it in the mountains and desert. But we will see how long that lasts?

If doing that, turn the stock wheels inside out, and it will widen your stance making it more stable. I did that with mine while waiting for the wheels to come in and it has worked great.
Basically, turn it insdie out and flip sides so the tread direction is correct. It is safe. I have been to the dunes with it that way, and over many forest/desert trails, no issues.
