As I sat here and read Kenny's words that Stacy had slipped into a coma I prayed that I was dreaming, that the words were not true. But in my heart I knew.. and I could only watch to see if my fears were going to become reality.

I thought it would be kinda cool and healing for those of us who know Stacy and are so sad from her passing to share some kind of a story we have about her.....sort of like a friendly roast. A funny story, a touching story...what ever you may want to share. I alway's like to keep a special persons' memory alive.
Stacy and I grew up knowing each other. Her dad and my dad were best friends since they were kids. She and her family are the reason I am even on this site and ever started going to Glamis. In fact If her and Ken hadn't drug me out to a few gatherings I would never have met CRASH and ultimatley ended up having our beautiful son Tristan. So in essence I have Stacy and her Fam. to thank for that incredible gift. I am so glad I got the chance to tell her that. That's my story, one of the many anyway.
I thought this poem up a couple of day's ago when I last saw Stacy.
I saw my friend for the last time today,
I smiled and I cried as I drove away.
I know it's selfish but I want her to stay,
But I guess God wants her...what can I say.
I smiled for the memories of the times we shared,
Cried for her loss... Oh God how I cared.
As we grew our lives they weaved in and out,
Sharing and laughing and playing about.
I can't believe she's gone it seems so unreal,
I'm just not sure exacly how to feel.
So if this is real and I have to say good bye,
I can't make any promises but I will try not to cry.
And I will see her in the afterlife,

I agree Kevin. The only comfort in the whole thing is to know she is painfree now because I know it was really bad in the end. It still effin sucks though

Sweet dreams dear friend..
i remember we were camped outside the big circle at one of the gatherings that was at vendor row, some off weekend. we were outcasts, just by ourselves, and she came roaring up on that polaris pictured above, or maybe it was one just like it. but she said hi, and that she would be right back, she roared off and sure enough came back. she was the one who incorporated us into the group and made us feel like family. i didnt get to spend much time with her, but i do remember a salsa sat at wayno and kerrins too. she was a class act, and will truly be missed. my thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
Here's another memory that impacted me. I was 12, she was 16 and just started driving....I thought she was the coolest older girl I knew. She took me to the store for some candy and soda and along the way she showed me her new CB radio she had in her car. Man I thought that was the BOMB! She showed me how to break in (Breaker 1-9 Breaker 1-9) and how to weed out the perverts. Haha Anyway needless to say when I turned 16 and got my car I got a CB radio too.
So many loving happy memories of Stacey! We first met Ken & Stacey at a GD.com party we had at our house in Lake Forest, oh about 6 years ago. Ken & Stacey were side by side the whole time. What a cute couple. They were kind of quiet and after spending some time talking with them, we found out Stacey had just gotten over battling cancer and Chemo treatments. What an amazing lady!!! We have become great friends since that day and the more we got to know her the more we got to know of the amazing person she truely is. We will always have loving memories of Stacey and her family in our hearts. 
I will never forget the party at the Sand4funs' a couple of years ago. Everyone was swimming, drinking and having a great time. Then Jen brings out the karaoke machine! After just a few drinks I found this singing voice I never knew I had 
and with Stacey by my side we belted out these Madonna songs like we had been singing for years. Ok, so she is naturally a better singer than myself, but at the time we WERE Madonna! From "Material Girl" & "Holiday" to "Like a Virgin", what a great time and an everlasting memory with great friends! I to this day think of that night when I hear a Madonna song and will always think of my dear friend Stacey and her love of signing Madonna songs!

I first heard that song when my mother-in-law found out she was dying of cancer.
There is alot of truth in those words.

I think of her every time I hear it.
I cried the first time I heard this song as well...reminded me a lot of my mom.

Wow, qot a few stories, but I'll share this one...
Somehow Stacy AKA GlamisChick got the idea that I thought all chicks are slow.
Probably cause I said something on the board or at a gathering to that effect.
So Stacy started given me grief everytime she saw me and saying how we'd have to go on a ride sometime, well timing was always off at the dunes it seems but finally when I bought Penelope's predator I had to break it in so I went over to Ken and Stacy's to ride, Ken wasn't there at the moment but Stacy say's " I'll go ride with you , if you don't think I'll hold you back, you know slow chicks and all ...
I laughed and said sure I'll wait up for you at the turns... We took off from their house down a few trails pretty mellow at first, but then hit some open area's and turned it up, I was wide open thinkin this bike really hooks up, then I thought I better slow down I'm probably dustin Stacy out, I slowed a bit and here comes this red bike streaking past! Stacy was right on my ass!! We came to a stop and even though she had her helmet on I could see her grinning from ear to ear,
We tore it up around the Perris airfield and general area for awhile but I can tell ya one thing.... Stacy was no slow chick!

I used to always look forward to seeing Stacy at the San Diego Taco Tuesdays at the Elephant Bar. We would generally talk as much smack to each other as fast as we could since we did'nt see each other that much

I remember the first time I met Stacy, it was my first trip with the group and she made me feel so welcome. She had water and asprin at the hill for me that night, between the heat and the beverages I was not feeling very well and she saved the day.

Yeah, we all had a great time! That was one of our "prechildren" nights out!!
I met Stacy about 5 years ago, right away I knew we would be friends, you can tell from your gut feeling if you will like someone, everytime I saw her smile and got a hug from her it just made me really happy, We was honored to have her and the family attend our wedding, to look back at the pics of her dancing with kenny

Well said Esco. Stacy was one of the first people I met through the group and I tend to be a quieter, stay to myself person, but she just pulled a smile right out of ya. I adore her alot and admire her spirit.

this day couldnt suck anymore than i thought it could. thanks...i miss her too. i miss her A LOT. spending time with her kids and Ken at the Kern. that was hard...i see the beauty of Stacy everytime i see those beautiful children... much love still in my heart.
Definitely miss her and think of her often. The funny thing is it usually puts a smile on my face when I think of her, that was just the person she was. She always made me laugh.
