Slappy
Get away, get away from here. You don’t belong. You are not welcome. You are a stranger in these parts, and I sense that you are danger. I see you slithering close to my home, but I will push you away, protect my young. You are here for one reason, and your hunger will not be quenched on me. This is my home, and I stand strong.

The nighttime brings a slight chill this time of year for me, but now I am awake. I’m not here to bother you; who are you? I know I must keep moving. Why? I am so very hungry. I search through the night for the heat I must find. You disrupt my path; you jump at me, block me, leaving me no choice but to go another direction. It happens again and again. Why do you deny me what I am looking for? I won’t bother you, I’m not searching for you; you aren’t the heat I am in need of. Yet you fight me, push me away.
You are strong in your resolve, and there are many of you. I will keep moving, moving away till you leave me alone. I didn’t know this was your home; I am very hungry. When I find my place, I will rest; and wait for the heat I must find…

Da story on this one is a slapptacious one...Da Slapster followed Mr. Sidewinders tracks for nearly an hour in da sand...Everytime he came up to one of the larger shrubs, a scuffle would incur. This happened nearly 15 times...He was moving through an area where there were many Fringe Toed Lizards and all kinds of dens. Them lizards did not like Mr. Sidewinder cruisin in their neighborhood, and it looked like they directed him away everytime he came close...And let Slap tell you this, there was some real big Fringe Toed in this area. As a matter of fact, the one in the picture is probably 15 to 20 inches long, head to tail...Very stout...

The scene played out, and it looked as though the Fringe community was defending their area. The Sidewinders will feed on lizards, but Slap don't think dat this one had a chance, but ya never know, he may have gotten lucky. Slap finally found Mr. Sidewinder in this bush where he came to rest, quite a good distance away from any dens...This story is Ms. Fringe and Mr. Sidewinder talking. It was laid out in the sand, and it was fun to watch...
Robbie
That is sooooo cool.
Wish I could have seen that.

That fringe is HUGE!!! I didn't know they came that big Slappy. You think that one is a few years old or can they grow that big in a year?
WaPaWeKkA
Problem with that is, you actually followed the snake around, I'd be hauling my butt the other way...
