huh? :? Even the DS riders that love their bikes will tell you it's not the best dune machine out there. The haters would call it one of the worst. I think the word superiority is a bit misplaced in that article.

I beg to differ. I think with a little set up its the best dune machine out there. I would rather be on my DS over a 250R, Z400, or a raptor for that matter. A banshee isnt even a consideration. As far as a trail bike.... NO EFFEN WAY!!!

You can keep the Track riding crap too!!! Ill keep mine in the dunes!

You are correct the best dune quad is the LT500 then the DS650

dude how can the ds even be half a good bike the thing is better off to be compared to a effen tank those thigns weigh like 650 pounds or somewhere in there jeez thats heavy and i thought my 380 pound shee was heavy

Hey does anyone know or have seen this one particularly fast ass DS650. I saw it at Buttercup a coupla weekends ago. It was at night and I remember that it had a greenish headlight and a red neon in front and was burning some funny smellin fuel. I was just wondering cuz its the fastest DS I've ever seen and my friends and I were just wondering what it had on it. That guy was smokin' everything else out that night and I couldnt believe it considering its a DS!! Does anyone know who's it is or what its got on it?

I have too adjust my list the LT500 then any other two stroke then the DS650 mine weigh in at 490 pounds with 4 gal of gas and heavy duty dirt tires.

The fast DS with the funny fuel is running methanol and nitro

I wonder if that was the guy I saw about six weeks ago along Gecko... It was dusk, so I couldn't see the quads well enough to figure out what they were. Guy on a thumper was spanking all his friends, including a Banshee, in drag-race after drag-race. I was dying to know what his ride was, but I was out walking and couldn't get near the guy.

I have seen that guy at Olds a couple times. Fast muther effer. I also read in a dirt wheels shoot out between the Z400, Banshee, 400ex, and a couple others that the DS out duned all of them. Its not as heavy feeling as you would think. GOT HORSE POWER?

There were about 6 of us that got spanked by him including both of my friends on their banshees, my pred, and a coupla 400's. One of my friends seemed to be the closest to him but it depended on who got a better start but even then most of the time the bombardier would still get him at the top pretty much. Alls i know is that, that particular DS isnt nowhere near a stocker cuz it was smoking the shit outta a stocker that was there.

I've riden with a few different ones.. and well.. They DUNE nice! I like those new ones.. they look bad azz!!!

I thought the Raptor at 399 was heavy, until my fat a$$ rode it, not to bad, the cooler is were all the weight is! But thats a must. Cummin knows this.

Okay I'd like to clarify something for everyone. The Predator is still better than a DS650.

I was out at Buttercup a few months ago and saw this guy. It must be the same one. I was on my sister in laws banshee at night and he flashed his lights to race. We did. He won... He even gave me the jump a few times. My sister in laws banshee has a little work done but not much.

Those are the nights I wish the kx500 had a light. :.(. That guy wouldn't have a shot. :mrgreen:

Hey Rubberdick did you get to talk to the guy? I want to know so badly what that DS had that made it so fast. And we all know that you lost cuz you were afraid to shift gears How the heck do I find out who that dood was!! :devil:

Although I cant say for sure, its probably a guy that oes by the name AZ Sand on Atvconnection.com. He has a couple of fast bikes(including a 440 ex that is pretty fast itself) I think the "big" bike is an 830, but it could be a 760. His big bike runs neck and neck with my 420 Banshee. But I can still dune my bike, he cant !LOL MUWHAHAAHAA.
