I've watched that five times now and it gets my heart pumping each time--awesome, now how do I get my buggy to turn like that in teh sand!
Outback
It can be done, but not with the new long travel cars. I had a car back in the middle 70's that I could drive without using the steering wheel. It was an 80 inch wheelbase car with a corvair rear engine. It was a blast as it had a center mount jaymar steering brake. We had fun as we would let the passenger work the brake as the driver would control the throttle and foot brake. Oh yeah it would get your heart pumping as you had to antisipate what the other person was going to do.
You talk about a slalom car, it would spin in circles, make sharp 90 degree turns under power and was a heck of alot of fun.
