In this picture there appears to be some pressed in nuts where the tierod heim bolts up. Does anyone know where I could get some of those nuts?[attachmentid=89103]

Hard to tell it the picture but don't the nuts come in from the back side? The last buggy rack I played with they did and I got the nuts at Lowes.

You might call Gear One.

It might be some type of Pem fastener.

Can we get a picture at a different angle?

If you pulled off the bumpsteer bracket, do you have access the the back side? More pics might help.

Thanks Guys

A pem or one of the inserts on Pages 3100 to 3105 might work (sorry, can't figure out how to link to a page on that site.

Love dunes are you saying it was just a normal nut that fit in a hexed out area of the rack adapter? I am building my own rack adapter, and just trying to figure out the best thing to use there.

Thanks

Sorry, I got that picture from a previous post on this site. I don't have the bracket

YEP. At the time I was wondering why they just did not make it deaper so I could put a nylock type nut in it. The bracket on HeadInjurys car was just threaded.

If all else fails, cant you just space the bracket from the rack then use a standard nut on the back? Here is a pic of mine

Here is one helped out with. They had a scetch on a napkin more or less and needed a computer file to feed the CNC machine. We later modified it with a hex in the back to accept a nut.
