yeah... I like Yamaha's as I have owned many in my life and have always had favorable experiences with them. I have owned Suzuki's as well as Kawasaki's and Honda's and I just seem to go back to the Tuning Forks.

Thanks... I like them alot and they are not to pricey.
Now the question. Red Rigns to accent the Red Flames on the LE Raptor or Black Rings and stay with the muted black theme???

Between racing downhill, cross country and seeing what happens to some of these rims and other carbon fiber products, you couldnt pay me to have them on my shit. I have been offered sponsored product for free and turned it down. I have had to many of my friends picking out fiber splinters outta their bodies. You can keep them!

WW,
If you are not going to jump big doubles, they will work fine. Downhill is correct about those applications, no Carbon Fiber, but then again those down hill guys aren't worried about weight. I would happily pay $5000 for a Colnago C-40 Carbon Fiber Road Bike, but you couldn't give me a Carbon fiber Mountain Bike.

I have seen both types go. I wish I could say the same for my downhill bike but yes I do hate the weight. That finish line sprint can get the best of you when you are peddling extra pounds. I have seen carbon fiber road forks go. I just dont trust it. My cros country bike weighs 23 pounds and no carbon fiber. I have a Trek road bike that weighs close to 21 pounds and no carbon fiber. Yes I could go with a carbon fiber frame but I would never trust it.

Okay so this started about Quad wheels and it's gone to to bicycles. My GT road bike is 58cm and weighs in at 18.6 lbs. I'm 250lbs, I cracked the steer tube on a taiwanese fork and replaced it with a Reyonlds Alum. steer tubed Carbon fiber fork and it is holding up great. I had a 1000 miles on my first fork so I should get a whole lot more out of a quality piece. My friend is a hill climbing animal, (he broke three sets of wheels until he got Mavic Krysriums, I have set on my bike after a bad experience with Spinergy) and his Colnago C-40 has held up better than an alum or Ti. bike did.

some of the pro atv racers use them in mx racing.

I had a set for my DS but I sold them. I had a hard time keeping the correct air pressure in them. They would either have a slow leak or build pressure up. They work in cross country and MX but not in Desert racing they blow up when you hit a rock at high speed.
