Where can I get cheap 930 or type 4 CV's in socal?

Is there a reason to go with anything more than the $55 ebay el-cheapos for 140hp of cycle power?

Does anybody have a freebie they'd be willing to donate or loan for mock-up, before I spend the dough? I'm in Temecula...
