I’m hooking up a throttle cable and have seen a few installed where the cable is pushed from the pedal and pushes the throttle open. Is anyone running their’s this way and have you had any problems with it.

I was going to hook it up to pull but the other way would make for a much cleaner look.

I run a push pull cable on my rails. I wanted a clean look and only 2 alan bolt to be loosened a half turn for over a foot and a half adjustment. Works great. I built a billet bracket that ties the push/pull cable into the stock cable off the motor which needs to be pulled.....

I would rather pull the cable. It seems like the push style could bind easier.

I have been running a push cable on my car for over five years and have no trouble at all. I did it as it was much easier to get the cable to work on my car and I liked the look of it better. As long as the cable has a fluid bend in it, it really doesn't matter.

Thanks for the in put and pictures so far. I was looking at me car last night and if I don’t push the cable I have to come up with a bracket some what like Yoshi’s.

Yoshi that is a really sweet looking set up there did you use a bearing at the pivot point?
