Sorry guys, I wasn't aware of the advertising rules when I told my friend about this board. I had already posted his pix and he was wondering where people were getting the word. This is a guy that I work with, non-sand related, and he's a bitchin fabricator who made quad bumpers for a couple people we work with. People tell people and his demand shot thru the roof. This is just a one man garage run gig, but he would like to be more. He didn't mean to step on anybody's toes or break any rules. Hope you all can forgine our ignorance! Thanks...Chris

Chris no problem but Slappy has bills to pay also and if your friend would like to advertise on the board then 20 buck a month is cheep. Plus here he would be selling directly to the market he's making the bumpers for. Talk to him and see if he thinks it worth it...

Your right, $20 a month is cheap for advertisement, I think somebody e-mailed him, and was pretty pissed. He said"oops I guess I pissed somebody off." But I'll let him know about it. Is the advertisement something he has to check up on, or it just runs just as long as he pays?

That is something between Slappy and him but I think that as long he talk it over with Slap then they can work something out...

If your friend is fabricating parts for mostly quads then have him ask Slap to put his ad in the Quad Tech forum. I see that a lot of people that post here don't post in any of the other forums so he would probably get a better response advertising here...
