There are no valves on a two stroke.

Mr. Dune,

Thanks, but what I was talking about is an exhaust valve. It's called a poweralve and it handles the flow of exhaust to the pipe in such a way as to increase the power over the whole range of RPM. :dozey:

OK Rob, yes there are power valve cylinders you can get for most two strokes but they are very expensive. For just the top end kit you are looking at $1400 and that's not counting the power valve pipe you should get for it.

C.T. racing make a real nice kit for the 250R. The 350PV kit complete costs $2400 but with that you get the motor tear down and reassembly of the trans, replacing the main bearings, rebuild the crank, machining the case, pipe, carb and reed cage...

If you do anything like a Power Valve to your bike you should always replace the seals. The added power will make the old seals leak I found that out the hard way...

The CT 350PV is a sweet duning motor! It's smooth with near zero hit like a non-PV. When I first rode mine it felt slow due to the no-hit but you are going faster than you feel you are.

I run the ESR TRX5 center month pipe on mine and it works great. I would like to try a PV pipe but when I got mine CT's PV pipe's were prototypes and I didn't klike hoe it felt compared to the ESR.

Will be at Glamis this weekend if you want a test ride biggrin.gif
