Awww man that is the pits. I just don't understand how people can be so ignorant....
Tim you have to be in the worst postion ever... YOu work non stop to clean the dunes and then have to see the trashing of our beloved dunes slapped right back in your face after an event that should be fun...
Boy I sure wish I could win the lotto, i'd move closer to the dunes and be there to help keep Mother Glamis clean... Thank you for being you...

I stopped going after I spent over an hour picking up fuel cans, and trash at a night drag event last summer. I don't understand what is so hard about picking up after yourself. Who leaves a BBQ at the hill? There are no excuses this time. Planetsand.com, and Rubdubs racing need to be held responsible.

First off, thanks Tim for all your hard work cleaning up after the effin slobs!
Second, very frustrating to see this mess on a few levels. PSand knew they left a mess last time and did nothing this time except to make it worse.
I thought I read last time , the BLM/ SOs knew about them leaving a mess. Why werent they there to police it or shut it down? Too hot? They sure as hell can shut it down when REAL duners are there.

Just my opinion here,
Any bad press, is basically BAD PRESS
so by posting pics here, is essentially bad. No matter who did what, it is bad for the duning community. Why is it everytime something bad happens at the ISDRA, it has to be plastered all over the WWW for every eco nazi to gather more ammo against us. Tim this is not a personal attack towards you, believe me, i applaud what you do, but hey you have the 4X4 truck , you have the trash bags, you went and took the pics , why not just pick it up before anyone else sees it.

after spending 3 hours out in the heat picking up trash i think the WWW is the place to show that yes people make a mess but we as the duneing comunity are doing somethig about it . i alway post after i have picked up the mess .but you know what they say opinions are like arse holes EVERYBODY has one.
and i have picked up trash several thousand pound and not said a word i just felt in this case someone needs to be accountable....Tim

True, the eco nazi's are probably the masters at spin, lies, and taking things out of context. Yet, it's hard to ignore the fact that real duners have significant heartburn about this childish, selfish and ignorant behavior. I don't think hiding this unacceptable behavior is going to stop it from happening, but it sure might make others who see threads like this have second thoughts about repeating it in the future. Obviously these idiots didn't get a clue the first time.

I ain't gonna' go through life with blinders on. Obviously it is not the majority that do this kind of stupid stuff, and bringing it to light just shows how it angers the real majority of dune users who see it for what it is: Sheer stupidity. Hide it? Sweep it under the rug? Pretend it doesn't happen? I don't think so.
DP and crew aren't doing us any favors, that's for sure. Are we giving them more ammo? Maybe. So what we gotta' do is look out for ourselves, and police ourselves. Somebody knows who these clowns are. They'll be reading themselves how they've flat p'd off the rest of the duning community. They'll get their due I'm sure.
A note to those responsible: Proud of yourselves? Got a case of booze flu this morning? You might wanna' keep your head on a swivel if you know what I mean...
G-Pilot: Keep doin' what you do.

bottom line you promote a race you clean up the race.......they made $$$ from sponces i bet... they need to have ppl pick up the next day.... (this should be required in the permit... or they should get charged the cost of the pick up and a fine!!!) just a thought...

Bill, maybe you should point them slappy's way....it might be a great opportunity to get their website to join in the adopt-a-wash, in a large, official way, like promoting it with their members, and maybe being the official sponsor of the olds hill adopt-a-wash section? To me, it would be great if all the websites could promote the anti-litter message through Slappy's program.

In MY opinion, Tim's meassage of "There's some pigs in the dunes and we're not gonna put up with that shiat around here" needs to get out. Just maybe these a-holes will think twice before doing it again.
