Full Version: Anyone Have Problems With The Megasand Trans?
My friends is putting one in his car and I was just wandering how they are holding up for the people that have them???

to be fair, it has a lot of duning hours on it, but not a ton of horsepower...

I blew up two of them last season with 300 hp behind it. Switched it out with a 2d, could have saved alot of money if i would have paid more up front for the mendi.
According To Demp 223 They Can Handle 450 HP 
I have about 1/2 a season on mine so far with no problems. Its the 2d rated at 450 hp. Im running a 5.3 Turnkey V8 and drive it fairly hard at times. so far so good.

Whats the distance between your trans mount plates and total length of 2D .

Distance between mounting plates is 16" and overall lenght from tip of nose cone is 2' 6".
