Im a drag racer, have a 480 rwhp Lightning and a 600 rwhp Mustang. I went to an offroad race for my first time in my life this year, Score San Felipe 250 got hooked. Im undecided on what to build for a desert- glamis toy. I was thinking of building a ford ranger, drop in the mustang motor and build a nice suspension. Its a rush to hear and feel a trophy truck pass by your side doing 70+ mph. I knew is should have stayed away, but I never listen.

There are some insanely built rangers. Easy to get fab parts and everybody knows what to do/not do. Go for it. Desert cars work in the sand, but sand cars dont work in the desert.
