Folks,
I put a twist throttle on my Blaster. The idle on these things stock is a wired setup of levers and cables on top tof the carb (Side note...anyone know why they did that???).
Anyways, I took all that junk off and installed the twisty. Works great, but no idle now. The slide has the cut away for an idle screw and the carb is threaded on the side, but the hole does not go all the way through to the throat.
I thought about getting a drill and finishing the hole and popping in an idle screw and jam nut.
Anyone out there done this?

Thanks.
Kevin
yup, you can even buy a kit that comes with the drill a tap and the idle screw. T.O.R.S. eliminator kit. since you did away with the thumb throttle i assume you changed carb tops? that big ass bulky box on top of the carb, chuck that and install a normal mikuni top if you havent done it already.
SHOCKER
What is that big bulky box on top of the carb? :X:
