Does the CDI have some type of safe mode? I have a 06 and the temp light stays on even when cold. I switched the sender out and it still stays on maybe a bad ground? The motor feels like it has a governor on it. I switched out another CDI and it ran fine then started to cut out like before. Could the temp light trigger a limp mode in the CDI.

I don't know for sure on a Rhino but my Raptor does.

I will try to repair the temp warning light and see if that makes a difference. Thanks
